Made with Seedance 2.5 from one text prompt: 1080p with generated sound, three shots in a single generation.
Prompt
A 30-second continuous cinematic story in one evening, three connected shots with smooth transitions. Shot 1 (0–10s): Rainy night in a narrow Tokyo side street lit by neon signs. A young woman in a yellow raincoat runs through puddles, holding a small paper parcel against her chest. Handheld tracking camera behind her, reflections shimmering on the wet asphalt. Shot 2 (10–20s): She ducks under the awning of a tiny old repair shop. An elderly watchmaker looks up from his workbench, warm lamp light on his face. She places the parcel on the counter and unwraps it: a broken pocket watch. Slow push-in on his hands as he opens the case. Shot 3 (20–30s): Close-up of the watch hands starting to move again. The woman smiles with relief, the old man nods. The camera pulls back through the shop window into the rain as the neon sign flickers on above the door. Same woman, same raincoat and same shop interior across all shots. Natural movement, realistic lighting, soft rain ambience, ticking clock, gentle piano at the end. No text, no subtitles.

Questions

Is Seedance 2.5 free on VisionMorphic?

You can try it for free. New accounts get 80 credits and 16 more each day up to 80. A 5-second 480p Seedance 2.5 video uses 60 credits. For more videos, higher resolutions, no watermark and commercial use, upgrade to a paid plan.

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?

No. Sign in with Google and the free credits are added to your account. You only enter payment details if you choose a paid plan.

What is the difference between Seedance 2.0 and 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is the newer ByteDance video model, released in July 2026. It costs more to run, so it uses more credits per second. Both models offer text to video, image to video and multi-reference, 480p to 1080p, and built-in sound. Seedance 2.5 makes clips from 4 to 30 seconds (2.0: 4 to 15), takes up to 30 reference images, 10 videos and 10 audio clips (2.0: 9, 3 and 3), and adds an Auto aspect ratio. Try the same prompt on both and compare.

Can I make 30-second videos with Seedance 2.5 here?

Yes, with a paid plan. Pick Seedance 2.5 in the generator and set the duration anywhere from 4 to 30 seconds. A 30-second 480p video uses 360 credits, so the 80 free credits cover up to 6 seconds at 480p. Longer clips need credits from a paid plan.

Is this the official Seedance website?

No. VisionMorphic is an independent product that runs Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5 through a third-party API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance.

Can I use free-plan videos commercially?

Not on the Free plan. Commercial use is included in Basic, Pro and Ultra.
