1. Scope and who is responsible
This Privacy Policy applies to the VisionMorphic website, AI video workspace, account, generation, media, credits, billing, and support features that link to it. “VisionMorphic,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the independent developer based in mainland China who operates this service and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at support@visionmorphic.com.
Third-party services such as Google, PayPal, Cloudflare, and our AI providers process some information under their own terms and privacy policies. This policy does not control their independent activities.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information produced through your use, and limited technical information needed to run the service.
- Google account information: your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image when you sign in.
- Prompts and media: text prompts, uploaded images, videos and audio, original file names, file types and sizes, reference links, and generated video or cover media.
- Generation and usage records: your generation settings, task history, results, errors, timestamps, and credit usage, together with service records needed to deliver and troubleshoot a generation.
- Account and entitlement data: user identifier, plan, credit balance, credit transactions, subscription status, billing period, and feature entitlements.
- Payment information: PayPal order, subscription, and transaction identifiers; plan, amount, currency, payment status, dispute records, and fraud-prevention decisions. We use a pseudonymous payment identifier to detect abuse across accounts. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank-account number from PayPal.
- Service and diagnostic data: request and provider status, error details, security events, diagnostic logs, and cookie or local-storage identifiers used to keep the service working. Hosting or security providers may also process IP address, browser or device information, and request metadata when delivering or protecting the service.
- Communications: information you include when you contact support, report a problem, request account action, or provide feedback.
3. How we use information
- authenticate you, maintain your session, and keep account data scoped to the correct user;
- upload and store reference media, submit generation requests, receive provider callbacks, and return available results;
- maintain generation history, credits, plan benefits, orders, subscriptions, and billing records;
- respond to support and privacy requests and troubleshoot failed uploads, provider calls, payments, or account activity;
- protect the service, prevent abuse and fraud, revoke invalid sessions, enforce our Terms of Use, and investigate incidents;
- maintain infrastructure, monitor service reliability, and diagnose or correct errors; and
- comply with law, accounting obligations, lawful requests, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
VisionMorphic does not use your prompts, uploaded media, or generated outputs to train models. We do not use them for public showcases or marketing without your separate permission. This describes our own use; it is not a guarantee about every generation provider’s practices.
Generation requires sending prompts, reference media, and settings to our AI generation providers and the model providers they use. We have not verified a no-training commitment covering every provider and model, so we cannot promise that all upstream processing excludes training. Contact us before submitting material that requires such a commitment.
Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and local storage
VisionMorphic uses a secure, HttpOnly sign-in cookie to maintain your session. It may remain for up to 7 days unless it expires, is cleared, or you sign out. Google and PayPal may set or read their own cookies when you use their sign-in or payment experiences.
We also use browser local storage for functional preferences and workspace continuity. Depending on what you use, this may include theme and language settings, a local user identifier, prompt drafts, selected generation mode, file names, media or asset references, recent-record identifiers, favorites, and preview thumbnails.
6. Retention and deletion
Access expiry is not the same as deletion. We determine retention by the purpose of each data category, any outstanding account or payment issue, and applicable legal requirements:
- Generated videos: Free videos are available for 7 days from creation. Paid videos and eligible videos extended after an upgrade have no automatic expiry while you keep paid access; when paid access ends, they remain for 30 days and are then deleted. User deletion, account closure, removal under our Terms, or service termination can end availability sooner. Existing purchase rights remain unaffected.
- Uploaded references: we keep an uploaded file while a video you have not deleted still uses it. It is deleted once every video using it has been deleted or has expired, and uploads that no video uses are deleted 7 days after upload. Request eligible account-data deletion to have remaining uploads removed.
- Prompts and generation records: deleting a generation removes it from your active history and deletes its video, cover, and any reference files no other generation uses. Related database records may remain. Request account-data deletion to have eligible prompts, media references, and account information removed or anonymized.
- Account and support information: we retain it to maintain your account and resolve your requests. On a verified deletion request, eligible information is removed or anonymized; information still needed for an outstanding matter or legal obligation is limited to that purpose.
- Payment and security records: we retain the minimum information needed for accounting, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. The period is determined by the applicable recordkeeping requirement, dispute period, or continuing security need.
- Logs, backups, and cached copies: deleting an item in the workspace does not immediately erase these copies. Retention depends on recovery, incident investigation, and legal needs. Deleted or expired media files may remain in our content delivery network cache, reachable at their previous link, for up to 4 hours. If a backup is restored, our account-deletion process calls for reapplying completed deletions before returning the restored service to use.
- Browser storage: saved drafts and preferences remain on your device until the service overwrites them, you clear them, or your browser removes them.
- Provider copies: AI providers, model providers, and payment providers may hold separate records under their own retention rules. Deleting a VisionMorphic record does not itself confirm their deletion.
You can delete your account from Account. Deletion removes your profile, videos, uploads, prompts, and feedback. Payment, refund, and credit records are kept for accounting and legal obligations, without your profile details. We keep a one-way hash of your Google account identifier so that signing up again does not grant new-account credits a second time. You can also email us to request deletion: contact support@visionmorphic.com from your account email and state what you want deleted. We verify identity, stop any active subscription renewal as part of closure, and address outstanding generation, payment, or dispute matters. We explain what was deleted, what must be retained and why, and the status of any provider deletion request. We respond within the time required by applicable law; any lawful extension will be explained.
7. International processing
VisionMorphic and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. We are responsible for meeting the transfer requirements that apply to our processing, including arranging appropriate safeguards where required. Providers are responsible for obligations that apply to their independent processing. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
8. Security
We use access controls, protected media links, session safeguards, and security and payment-abuse checks to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Protect your Google account and device, sign out on shared devices, and do not upload secrets or sensitive content that is unnecessary for your generation. Report suspected unauthorized access to support as soon as possible.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have the right to complain to a local data-protection authority.
Submit a request to support@visionmorphic.com. Tell us the account email and the right you want to exercise, but do not send your password, authentication token, or payment-card details. We may verify identity, ask for clarification, or deny or limit a request where allowed by law.
An authorized agent may submit a request where local law allows it. We may request proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation from the account holder.
10. Children
VisionMorphic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If local law sets a higher minimum age for consent, that higher age applies. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information without valid consent should contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
