Image to video AI
Image to video AI turns one photo into a short video: you upload the photo, describe in a sentence what should move, and the model animates it with matching sound. On VisionMorphic it takes a few minutes in your browser.
Below, the same photo and prompt on four models side by side, then a product, a talking portrait and a landscape, each with its exact prompt. Every clip is one generation, not edited.

Turn a photo into a videoSame photo, four models: which image to video AI is best?
We gave four models the same start photo and the same prompt, 5 seconds each with sound, and kept the first result from each. The four play in step; tap the speaker on one to hear its saxophone.

Moves in the closest, ending on his face with his eyes closed and his fingers on the keys while the market keeps moving behind him.
Try Seedance 2.5 with your photoThe liveliest scene around him: steam rolls up from the stalls and a passer-by steps into the frame as the camera settles on a medium close-up.
Try Kling 4.0 with your photoKeeps the widest framing, so the whole saxophone and the shoppers walking behind him stay in the shot.
Try MiniMax H3 with your photoA steady push-in to a close-up, with the string lights and steam still moving behind him.
Try Wan 3.0 with your photoWhich model should I use for image to video?
Pick by the shot you want. All four are in the same generator, so you can try one photo on several and keep the one you like.

Product photo to video ad
How do I turn a product photo into a video ad?
Start from a clean product shot and describe one camera move and one effect. Here the camera eases around the sneaker and a splash of water bursts up around the sole, with a whoosh and a bass hit generated in the same pass. Ask for the product to keep its exact shape and color.

Make a photo talk
How do I make a photo of a person talk?
Write the line in quotes and say the mouth should move with the words. The voice and lip movement are generated from the prompt, so you can change the line to anything short before you generate. Use only photos of yourself or of people who agreed to it.

Bring a landscape photo to life
How do I animate a landscape photo?
Name the few things that should move, such as mist, light, water or birds, and one slow camera move. Everything you leave out stays still, which keeps the scene close to your photo.

How do I turn a photo into a video?
1. Upload a photo
Sign in with Google to get 40 free credits, open the generator and add your photo as the start frame. JPG or PNG works on every model.
2. Describe the motion
Write what should move, how the camera moves and what it should sound like. You don’t need to describe what is already in the photo.
3. Pick a model and generate
Choose a model and a length, then generate. The video lands in your Library, so you can close the tab while it renders.
What makes a good photo and prompt for image to video?
Use a sharp photo with one clear subject
Good light, no motion blur, and the person, product or place you want to animate filling most of the frame. Crop it to the shape you want the video to be.
Write motion, not a description
The photo already shows what things look like. Spend the prompt on what happens: who moves, how, and in what order.
Give the camera one job
One move, such as a slow push-in, a drift to the side or a turn around the product, looks steadier than several moves in a few seconds.
Ask for the sound
Name the sounds and put any spoken line in quotes. End with “No text” to keep captions and lettering out of the video.

Questions
Can I turn a photo into a video for free?
Yes. New accounts get 40 free credits with no card needed, plus 10 more each day up to 40, enough for a short video from a photo. Free videos carry a watermark, are kept for 7 days and are not for commercial use; longer and higher-resolution videos need a paid plan or a credit pack.
Can I choose where the video ends?
Yes. Every model here takes an end frame as well as a start frame, and the video moves from one to the other. Kling 4.0 also takes up to 8 keyframes in between, at most one frame per second of video plus one.
Which aspect ratio will my video have?
The video follows the shape of your start photo, so crop the photo to 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 before you upload it.
Will the video keep the face from my photo?
It starts from your exact photo, and the face usually stays close to it in short clips. Fast turns, long videos and big changes to the scene make drift more likely, so keep the motion simple when the likeness matters.
Can I use the videos commercially?
On paid plans, yes, and the watermark can be removed. Videos made with free credits are for non-commercial use.
Can I animate a photo of someone else?
Only with their permission. Don’t upload photos of other people without consent, of public figures, or of minors.
